Last week, our team took part in ESTAD 2025 in Italy, one of the key events for the European steel and metallurgy community. It was a great chance to meet industry professionals, exchange experiences, and discuss how modern measurement technologies can support process efficiency and sustainability.
The trip itself was a memorable one โ through the Alps to the venue in Verona, with plenty of time to reflect on the challenges and opportunities shaping todayโs steelmaking industry. At the event, many visitors stopped by our booth to learn more about the QLX9 slag analyzer and its role in real-time slag analysis. The interest and technical discussions once again confirmed the relevance of fast, in-situ analytical tools for process control and optimization.
A special highlight was the inspiring presentation by Piero Frittella, who shared his insights on process optimization using predictive models and real-time data. His talk attracted much attention and sparked engaging discussions with participants.
ESTAD 2025 proved to be an excellent platform for meeting partners, researchers, and plant operators from across Europe. We return with new contacts, valuable feedback, and fresh ideas for further development.
We would like to thank all visitors and colleagues for their interest and great conversations!
