Our QuantoLux partner presented a breakthrough approach in slag analysis, showcasing how in-situ Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) moves beyond traditional visual and XRF evaluations. Unlike these methods, which can be slower and less accurate, OES provides immediate, detailed data on slag composition, measuring elements like magnesium, aluminum, and silicon almost in real-time. This technology empowers operators to make quick adjustments on the production floor, improving product consistency, reducing energy use, and lowering costs.
