Why QuantoLux Fits the Indonesian Market?
Indonesia’s metals, recycling, and processing sectors benefit greatly from on-site, reliable material analysis:
-
Portable & flexible analysis on-site: AlloyChecker and QLX1 allow workshops, scrap yards, and factories to perform fast alloy identification and QC without sending samples to labs.
-
Versatile metal coverage: QLX1 handles Fe, Al, Cu, Ti and more — suitable for a wide variety of local metals and alloys.
-
Robust slag and bulk-material analysis (QLX9): Perfect for steel mills, foundries, and recycling operations in harsh industrial conditions.
-
Cost and time efficiency: Quick analysis (~20 seconds for QLX9) reduces downtime, speeds up sorting and process control, and lowers operational costs. Additionally, most of our applications require little to no argon and no consumables, which decreases analysis price drastically.
-
Support for recycling and sustainability: Accurate metal-grade sorting, contamination prevention, and alloy verification enhance compliance and maximize material value.
These solutions help Indonesian partners implement frequent QC, faster decision-making, and reliable traceability, giving a competitive edge in an increasingly industrialized market.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Laser-OES?
Laser-OES (Laser Optical Emission Spectrometry) is an optical emission technique that uses a focused laser pulse to create a micro-plasma on the material surface. The emitted light is analyzed to determine the exact chemical composition in seconds. It is fast, robust, and suitable for metals, slag, and other industrial materials. Also, it has no restrictions to "light elements" and, with the right setup, can analyze almost all elements in periodic table.
Do I need special training to operate your instruments?
Basic training is recommended, but no specialized laboratory background is required. Our instruments are designed for production environments and come with intuitive software. We can provide short onboarding sessions for new operators.
How often do the instruments require maintenance?
Laser-OES systems require minimal maintenance. Routine cleaning of the measurement window and periodic calibration checks are usually sufficient. Most users schedule a preventive service once per year, supported by our certified local distributors.
