Goodbye QLX9, Hello Alexandra – Where Every Ending Sparks a Beginning

They say it’s harder to let something go than to start something new. We’re not so sure about that. Because this time, saying "goodbye" feels just as exciting as saying "hello".

We’re happy to welcome Alexandra as our new Application Expert — a passionate scientist whose love for detail, technology, and teamwork fits perfectly into our crew. Yet, almost at the same moment, we said farewell to another QLX9, one of those finely tuned systems we carefully craft, test, and finally ship out into the world.

A Farewell with a Smile (and a Little Tear)

Every time a QLX9 leaves our production hall, we have two feelings fighting for attention — pride and nostalgia.
Pride, because we know each system will bring a significant benetfit to our customer operations.
Nostalgia, because every QLX9 carries a piece of our daily dedication, our passion and our love for detail.

This time, the destination was - for the 2nd time - China. We watched its crate leaving with a smile, knowing the impact it would make — and perhaps a tiny tear, too, remembering the long hours of precision and teamwork that went into it.

A Reunion on the Other Side of the World

For Alexandra, this farewell turned out to be more of a “see you soon.” Just weeks after the QLX9 shipment, she found herself standing in front of the same system again — this time at our partner’s location in China, supporting with in-depth application knowledge and hands-on commissioning expertise.

With her strong background in spectrometry (from A to Z!) Alexandra was ready to jump in. She holds a Master Degree in Physics and focused additional studies in Laser Technology and LIBS in Jena, Germany, one of the centers of optic technology. Her combination of technical know-how and real-world experience made it possible to provide immediate, high-level support — only months after joining the team. Truly remarkable!

The feedback from our partner? Entirely positive. And judging from the photos, it seems Alexandra not only represented our company very well but also enjoyed her time there.

Every Goodbye Is a New Beginning

Letting go of a QLX9 never means losing it — it means watching it make a difference for a customer. And welcoming a talent like Alexandra keeps that circle of innovation alive.

So here’s to two great things happening at once: a goodbye that turned into a reunion, and a hello that turned into a success story.
