Update: QuantoLux Officially Moves in to the New Headquarters

From Nanometers to Moving Boxes: A Different Kind of Precision

Two weeks ago, we swapped spectrometers for moving carts and fine-tuned instruments for furniture assembly as we tackled an entirely new challenge—relocating to our new space. It was a shift from the microscopic world of nanometers to the very tangible task of lifting, organizing, and setting up a brand-new workspace.

As spectrometer specialists, we’re used to extreme precision—analyzing materials at the smallest scales, ensuring accuracy down to the finest detail. But this time, our focus wasn’t on spectroscopy; it was on moving desks, assembling shelves, and figuring out the best spot for the coffee machine. Every task required teamwork, problem-solving, and maybe even a little creative engineering—just in a very different context.

Relocating means dealing with endless boxes, but sometimes it is important to take a break!

The result? A bright, spacious new home that fits our needs perfectly. Each product now has its own dedicated space, our storage capacity has grown exponentially, and we even have a brand-new kitchen (though it wasn’t quite finished when we held our first pizza meeting there).

The transition was fast and full of energy—what normally takes weeks, we pulled off in just two days. It was hard work, but just like in our daily jobs, precision, collaboration, and attention to detail made all the difference. Now, settled into our new location, we’re excited for the next chapter—both in and out of the lab.
